Paul
The Apostle to the Nations
Key Scripture
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
— Philippians 4:13
✦Life Story
Paul began as Saul of Tarsus, a brilliant Pharisee who persecuted Christians with lethal intensity — until a blinding light on the Damascus road turned his world upside down. The encounter with the risen Jesus transformed the most dangerous enemy of the church into its most prolific missionary. He traveled over 10,000 miles, planted churches across the Roman Empire, wrote thirteen letters that became the theological backbone of the New Testament, was imprisoned, beaten, shipwrecked, and finally executed. He wrote his most joyful letter — Philippians — from a prison cell. His life proves that the content of your circumstances does not have to determine the contentment of your soul.
